This tea contains pure organic tussilago farfara (coltsfoot).
The name “tussilago” is derived from Latin - “tussis” (cough) “ago” (cast away). It has been traditionally used as a cough and sore throat remedy all over the world. It is also traditionally made into a poultice for wounds & insect bites, and often smoked as a herbal tobacco alternative.
Note - NOT for regular oral use! Save for times of sickness. Not suitable for pregnancy, nursing women, or young children, & do not take with anticoagulants such as warfarin or aspirin due to mild risk of increased bruising/bleeding.
