Wormwood & Spearmint
This is an early bird listing for a soap that is not yet cured. Like a good cheese, the longer a soap is cured the better. If purchased, we recommend storing it in a dry ventilated area for at least 3 months, ideally up to 8 months or more, for the best results in longevity and lather. You may use the soap before it is cured, however it may not last as long as it otherwise would. It is fully safe to use uncured.
Our new wormwood & spearmint soap is absolutely packed full of organic anti-parasitic sweet annie wormwood. Sweet annie wormwood is a wonderful plant commonly consumed as a tea for internal parasite cleanses. We have incorporated it into a soap so that you can reap its benefits on the skin - did you know that many rashes and skin conditions can actually be caused by microscopic parasites? Wormwood is amazing for killing parasites, as well as repelling insects and pests like ticks and fleas. It can also help soothe itchiness of the skin. Despite being a human grade soap, we also recommend it for washing pets to aid in preventing fleas/ticks and calming the skin.
Like other species of mint, spearmint has antifungal properties, and it has even been shown to have success treating fungal infections that are resistant to antifungal ointments. This makes it a wonderful companion to wormwood in this soap, along with the antibacterial & antifungal properties of goldenseal root, which is also a key ingredient in our When All Else Fails salve & MSM Ultra soap. Finally, we added a touch of anise for its antimicrobial and antioxidising properties, and its abilities to reduce excess oil in the skin.
Made with rich extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, and cocoa butter to nourish your skin, as well as organic dried wormwood herb, goldenseal root, spearmint essential oil, peppermint essential oil, and anise.
This soap is suitable for face, hands and body, and it is safe for humans & pets.
Approx. 100g. Weight, colour, and design may vary as each piece is hand-cut and cured.
